Fantasy Ops

Data & Privacy

What we use, and what we keep

The short version: no accounts, no passwords, and your league choice lives in your own browser.

The short version

  • No sign-up and no password. Fantasy Ops only ever asks for your Sleeper username.
  • Your username and the league you pick are saved in your browser (local storage) so every tool remembers them — not in a database of ours.
  • “Change user” or “disconnect” on any tool clears them. So does clearing your browser data.

What we read from Sleeper

Everything below is public through Sleeper's API — the same data anyone in your league can see.

  • Your Sleeper user id, from your username, to find your leagues.
  • Each league's settings — scoring, size, starting lineup, FAAB budget.
  • Rosters, team names and FAAB remaining, to show what's available and which team is yours.
  • This season's waiver transactions, for winning bids.

Our server

  • Your username passes through our server to look up your leagues on Sleeper.
  • Sleeper responses are cached briefly — a username lookup for up to an hour, league data for five minutes — so the site stays fast and Sleeper isn't hammered.
  • We don't keep a list of visitors or the leagues they look at.

Analytics

  • Vercel Web Analytics counts page views. It sets no cookies.
  • No ads, and nothing is sold or shared.
